Climbed an old logging road and then followed the stream up into the fir / spruce swamplands. Moose trails lead down to the river and up unto the ridge - clearly defined like streets. I walked right into a clearing where a mother moose and her calf were eating. They just stared at me and then walked away into the fortress of small firs.
This is an old video of myself and Chris (Archers) playing at the Someday Lounge for “Hexavision” - a live collaboration between visual artists and musicians.
Tim Hecker’s ability to make dynamic, avant music, while maintaining a somewhat signature and expressive sound has always impressed me. This new album (Ravedeath 1972) is gorgeous and brilliant.
